Data Plan Settings

Data Plan Settings can be used to monitor a devices data usage. You can choose to use the same data plan as an existing device, define a custom plan, or choose not to monitor data for the device. Data Plan settings can be accessed on the Devices tab in the Tasks drop down menu or by clicking the Edit button in the Device Details window.

To set up the data plan on your device:

1. Click Devices.
2. Select the device(s) you want to update.
3. Click on Tasks and select Data Plan Setup.
4. Choose from:
• Do not specify a data plan.
• Use a defined plan for existing device
• Define custom plan. For a custom plan:
• Set the Plan Type. You can choose a specific day or an interval (in number of days) to check data usage.
• Set the Start Date. If setting up an interval plan, enter the number of days for the interval.
• Set the Data Cap as a megabyte or gigabyte value. The data cap is a threshold value. Device data is not automatically curbed when the cap is reached.
• Set the Notify At percentage. This generates a High Data Usage notification when the threshold percentage is reached.
5. Click Update Data Plan.
